I first moved away from home when I was 18 years old. I was suffering from bulimia and depression from a series of events, and decided the best thing for me was to move away . My mom was a daycare provider, and in this case food and junk food was easy access 24/7. I needed to be somewhere where I could not afford to binge eat, and afford the food I needed. After moving away I was faced with a rude awakening from the real world, which lead me to a deeper depression. But my fight with food worked, and from there I went to college to become a Social Worker. 6 months into the field after graduation I realized it wasn't for me. 8 years later I am now studying to be an Optician, and have a certificate and Diploma in Personal and Child nutrition. Food is energy, and energy is life! I have a very bubbly and outgoing approach to almost everything, and I strongly believe in changing your lifestyle, not your diet. I am currently studying Natural holistic remedies, and in the future my goal is to further my education by adding pet care and sports nutrition to the mix. To me nothing is more powerful then trying to build a better an healthier & happier community for everyone.
